Electromagnetic sensing

Electromagnetic sensing consists of communication between a printed antenna and an object (via resonators) to detect the presence and orientation of a mounted child seat.

Based on “contactless” detection, electromagnetic sensing is simple to add to other occupant detection and classification products.

This technology is mainly used in our Child Seat Presence and Orientation Detection (CPOD) solution for the automotive industry.
