With the view to strengthening its Quality Assurance Department, IEE has an immediate opening for the position of Quality Engineer.
Main responsibilities are:
The purpose of this position is to handle planning, organization and implementation of all quality-relevant measures during product development as well as customer support series production. You are the key-interface to the customer concerning all quality-relevant topics.
Responsibilities include customer contact and visits. In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards and tools (ISO/TS 16949, QS9000, VDA 6.2, ISO 16949, APQP, FMED, 8D, etc.)
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
University degree in Engineering
Preferred experience in a quality role (automotive industry)
Preferred experience in a software development role or quality role related to software development
Experience in automotive SPICE is considered as an asset
Fluent English is a must; French & German are an asset
3 years' experience in an industrial automotive environment
Good understanding of project management
Organizational and leadership skills are a plus
Knowledge in statistics
Willingness to travel
Moderation and presentation skills
Key skills: ability to work autonomously in an international environment; creativity, stress resistance, team spirit and a pro-active attitude are imperative
