Touchpads

When hand-held devices need to recognize text, touchpads are the ideal solution.

Capable of detecting x and y co-ordinates on a plane of any shape, touchpads take the voltage generated at each co-ordinate and create user-drawn curves that can be used for drawing, writing or navigation.

Incredibly versatile, touchpads can be based on Force sensing Resistor (FSR) or capacitive technology, depending on the required functionality.
