Switches

Thin, durable and flexible, IEE’s switches can be used in hand-held devices that require an on/off signal, such as MP3 players, radios and Bluetooth headsets.

The switch contact is closed when the force applied reaches a specified threshold, which can be adapted to meet application requirements. Depending on the type of contact material used, the switch can be nearly digital (low impedance) or force-dependant (where the contact resistance is a function of the force applied).

Switches can either be configured as single switches or as switch arrays.
