Customized input sensing for hand-held devices

As consumers are demanding hand-held devices with smaller and thinner user interfaces and more versatile functionality, IEE develops customized input sensors for human-machine interfaces (HMIs) consisting of switches, sliders and scrollers, touchpads and proximity sensors. Unlike conventional switches, which have the limited capability of just turning on or off, our smart input devices enable the user to access a wider range of functions through a simple touch. Our sensors are low-weight, thin and flexible, and offer the option of fully integrated backlighting.
